Synopsis


Perspective: a man finds a pair of glasses that enables him to see the world around him and ultimately enabling him to save a life.

"I lost the glasses....but not the vision."

Cast

Jake
Jake plays the part of lead actor and is the type of person who thinks things through, he's thoughtful, a business person. On a typical day he wears a dark leather jacket and some light jeans. He's in his mid thirties.

Ryan
Jakes older good friend who gives wise counsel.

Sarah
Sarah is a teacher who reguarly grades papers at a coffee shop. Shes a nice person but some of her family members have issues.
She is in her twenties.

Phil
Phil is a homeless man who walks the streets of the city. Always down to pick up a dollar, he gets into trouble quite a bit.
With a tattered shirt and ripped jeans, Phil is late twenties or older.

Tim
Tim is the husband of Sarah and wants to end his life because of all the problems he has.

NEED CIA People
The CIA people wear dark suits and also seem to show up before something bad is about to happen. They know of the glasses and they resist Jake from helping anyone. Ultimately they end up chasing Jake, costing him his glasses, but saving Tim.

NEED Thugs
Several thugs walk through the streets and are close to beating up Phil but Jake shows up in time after being awakened by the glasses. The thugs are in the late teens to 20's. Some of them have tatoos and muscular build.

NEED Extras
For several of the scenes we also need extras to be around. All looks needed. Simply needed to show up on the day of.



Crew

Director and Cinematographer
Silas Barker is directing and shooting the film. He is also the author of the story and a full time Videographer.

NEEDED Crew Help
Audio boom mic, Lighting and reflecting help, traffic controllers, assistance during production.

We have one make up person and a back up would be helpful.

All positions are no pay positions, but you will receive a DVD copy of the finished film, your monologue on dvd upon request, credits, exposure at major film festivals all over North America, we will provide references for your next project if we liked working with you, and (possible) meals.

The film is being shot in September thru October of 2010.

About the Filmmaker

Silas Barker has been in the film industry since his teen years and has an extensive background in videography, computer graphic imagery, and music and sound design. He has also been the cinematographer for several short films including a semi-finalist at a film festival. Perspective is one the largest projects yet and will be sent to major film festivals across North America.
